Ehsan Moazen-Zadeh, M.D., M.Sc.

Currently, Dr. Moazen holds the title of Physician-Scientist Psychiatry Chief Resident at the Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC.​ He has authored over 30 scientific articles on treatment of psychiatric disorders and mental health disparities, with his work cited more than 1,000 times by other researchers. He currently collaborates as a therapist and research scholar with Mount Sinai Parsons Research Center for Psychedelic Healing, exploring ketamine assisted psychotherapy for treatment of PTSD. Beyond his scientific contributions, he actively teaches psychiatry residents and engages the public through his "Psych Minutes" podcast. On the podcast, he distills the latest scientific evidence on trending mental health topics—such as medical marijuana, ketamine—into accessible language for a broader audience.

Dr. Moazen has substantial experience in treating a wide spectrum of mental health conditions, with further advanced training beyond general psychiatry at some of the leading institutes in the field, including Mount Sinai Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery (CTMS), International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), Center for Treatment and Study of Anxiety at University of Pennsylvania (CTSA), and AEDP Institute. In addition to medication management, he provides the following psychotherapy services:
